The Route

So the route is set, the bikes are ready, and the blog has started! Our team will be setting off from Kunming, China where we will embark on an open-armed adventure, visiting seven more countries in the span of 80 days. Leading our group will be the famous Chinese explorer, Mr. Jin Fei Bao (http://www.jinfeibao8844.com/), and geologist Fei Xuan. Our main purpose will be bridging the friendships between Southeast Asia, China, and the USA, while being environmentally and sociably conscious. Our tour through Southeast Asia is a commitment to environmental preservation and friendships.

Why Bicycle?
Cycling brings us closer to the countries and ultimately the people. Instead of rushing by in a car, bus, or worse just flying over, we will be interacting with more of the people, experiencing more of their culture and understanding more of their country. Riding our bikes also reminds us how important it is to help preserve our environment so that other countries aren't suffering from our arrogant behaviors.
